WHAT PARTNERSHIP MEANS TO US

We believe each one of us has the resources to really make a difference in the lives of families, friends and our communities. At the Salvation Army, we are privileged with the responsibility of supporting our communities and motivating change that will move us all forward together. We invite anyone who wants to partner with us in our mission, to bring your perspective, your skills, and even your dreams, to the table. Together we will identify challenges and  invent solutions that will yield meaningful outcomes.

WE NEED YOU

We need you because others need us! You can rely on our reputation, and be confident that we will get help to those in need. The Salvation Army has over 150 years of experience building and sustaining a world- wide charitable organization that spans 111 countries and 175 languages. We are proud of our history and accomplishments in bringing compassion, help, and integrity to communities around the world. We need you... because others need us.

WHO WE PARTNER WITH

Individual Partners :

We can't wait to meet you, hear your ideas, and help you to form your own legacy in helping others. If you are a family, a high school student, or simply a friend of the Salvation Army, here are a few suggestions that may help you to find the right partnership fit with us:

  • Donating goods
  • Volunteering at your local Thrift Store
  • Schedule a garage sale
  • Volunteer for our Christmas Kettle Campaign
  • Hold a bake sale fundraiser at your school
  • Or, you may have an idea of your own. Either way, let us know and we will do our best to support your success.

Community Partners (including Non-Profit) :

Strength in numbers means that by combining our distinct perspectives we can inspire dreams, implement change, and watch as others succeed from that change. Teamwork is at the core of everything we do. If you are a community looking to expand your potential, here are a few suggestions to get you started:

  • Start a Toy Drive
  • Schedule a Food Drive
  • Talk to your neigbours about  a clothing drive
  • Create a community fundraising event, such as a baseball tournament, hockey game, or tennis match.

Corporate Partners :

As a corporation, we understand that you receive many requests to either fundraise or contribute to many great causes. We congratulate you for all those groups you have helped along the way. If you are interested in establishing a corporate partnership with Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Central and Southwestern Ontario, we have many options available.

Every business is unique, so we can also tailor your partnership to fit your corporate charitable giving needs. In fact, with 30 stores in Central and Southwestern Ontario, millions of customers visit Thrift Stores annually, and represent a wide variety of market segments. Through in-store sponsorships, we can help you deliver your message while furthering our cause of helping communities. We invite corporations to consider a joint venture with the Salvation Army in order to build strategic relationships, initiate change, and improve communities here in Ontario, or across Canada.
